Lymphatic Drainage Therapy
Detox. Restore Rebalance.
What Is Lymphatic Drainage Therapy(LDT)?
Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT) is a gentle, non-invasive bodywork technique designed to stimulate lymph flow, reduce stagnation, and support the body's natural detoxification and immune functions.
Developed by Dr. Bruno Chikly, LDT uses subtle, hands-on techniques to detect the rhythm, direction, and depth of the body’s lymphatic flow — and to gently redirect that flow to optimize circulation, drainage, and immune function. Unlike traditional massage, LDT works primarily with the interstitial fluid and lymph system to help clear blockages, reduce inflammation, and support the body's own healing intelligence.
The result? A deeply calming, restorative experience that can reduce swelling, promote immune balance, and create a lasting sense of lightness and clarity in the body.

How It Works
LDT is performed with soft, rhythmic touch — often so gentle it feels like energy work or subtle wave-like movement. Using a method called Manual Lymphatic Mapping (MLM), the practitioner identifies fluid stagnation and works with the body’s natural pathways to reroute lymph to healthy, functioning nodes.
This advanced technique allows for highly personalized treatment based on real-time feedback from the body. Sessions are deeply relaxing, often activating the parasympathetic nervous system (rest-and-digest mode), and can be especially beneficial for those recovering from illness, stress, or surgery.
What to Expect in a Session
Sessions typically last 60–90 minutes. You’ll remain comfortably clothed and lie on a massage table while gentle, methodical touch is applied to areas including the neck, chest, abdomen, limbs, and pelvis. You may feel subtle pulsing, warmth, or shifts in fluid — but most of all, you’ll likely feel deeply calm and lighter in your body.
This work is non-invasive and safe for most people, including those with chronic illness or recovering from surgery.
Why the Chikly Method?
Carolyn is trained in the Chikly Health Institute’s Lymphatic Drainage Therapy approach, which is based on decades of research and refined palpation skills. Chikly’s method honors the body’s innate intelligence — allowing the practitioner to follow the fluid’s natural pathways rather than forcing a pre-set sequence.
This approach leads to deeper, longer-lasting results by working with the body, not against it.
