Hi, I’m Carolyn,

Many clients tell me they notice something different the moment a session begins — a sense of calm, warmth, and space for their body to soften.

As a Certified Rolfer®, I bring a nurturing, intuitive approach to bodywork that helps clients feel safe enough for their bodies to release long-held tension. My work focuses on lymphatic drainage and gentle structural work that supports circulation, recovery, and overall well-being.

Who This Work Is Best For

• People seeking gentle, nurturing bodywork
• Clients looking to support lymphatic health and circulation
• Post-surgical recovery or swelling reduction
• Those feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or needing deep relaxation
• Anyone who wants a calming, restorative session

Carolyn’s nurturing presence and intuitive touch help the nervous system settle, allowing the body to unwind naturally.

A Gentle, Intuitive Approach to Healing Through Touch

Carolyn’s path into bodywork grew from a genuine desire to help people feel more at home in their bodies. Long before she formally trained in structural integration, she was naturally drawn to caring for others and creating spaces where people could slow down, breathe, and feel supported. That instinctive ability to nurture and listen has remained at the heart of her work ever since.

She became a Certified Rolfer through the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in 2011 and has spent the years since deepening her understanding of how the body organizes, protects, and heals itself. Rather than approaching the body as something to be “fixed,” Carolyn works with it as a living, responsive system that often just needs the right environment to release long-held tension and restore balance.

Clients often notice something special the moment a session begins. Carolyn’s hands carry a quality that is difficult to teach — warm, intuitive, and deeply attentive. Many describe them as nurturing and motherly, with a presence that immediately helps the nervous system settle. This gentle but perceptive touch allows her to feel subtle patterns in the body and work with them patiently, inviting change rather than forcing it.

Over the years Carolyn has pursued extensive continuing education to broaden the ways she can support her clients. Her training includes Visceral Manipulation through the Upledger Institute, advanced work addressing the neck, jaw, and head, and multiple levels of Lymphatic Drainage Therapy through the Chikly Health Institute. She is also a Reiki Master in the Usui Shiki Ryoho system and continues to explore approaches that support both physical and energetic well-being.

Carolyn has developed a particular passion for lymphatic health and recovery. Her training in Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage Massage through the Josie Rushing Technique allows her to support clients seeking improved circulation, reduced swelling, post-surgical recovery, and a greater sense of lightness in the body. She recently expanded her work further by studying Thai Yoga Bodywork in Thailand, a practice that blends assisted stretching, rhythmic movement, and mindful touch.

What guides Carolyn’s work most is the understanding that healing rarely happens through force. It happens when the body feels safe enough to let go. Through careful listening, skilled touch, and a deeply caring presence, she creates sessions where clients can soften, unwind, and rediscover a sense of ease and connection within themselves.
